Systems Engineer

Doust Automation and Control is a leading Australian owned building automation company providing Energy Management solutions to many sectors of the commercial, retail, educational and medical markets. Due to demand for our services and systems we are currently seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer from the IT or Electrical disciplines to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering manager, you will be responsible for the engineering aspects of our building automation systems within the Greenfield, retro-fits and existing clients sites, including:

•  Network Configuration
• Code
• Graphics
• Manuals

 The applicant should have a broad range of application knowledge and tasks would include:

•  Web page creation – HTML, ASP, XML, Java and PHP
• Database creation and report generation – SQL
• Integration of software applications and building management systems – ODBC, OPC
• LAN/WAN and proprietary system networking
• Documentation – Visio, CAD

 Required:

•  Current NSW drivers license essential.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Linking / Mapping
• PC hardware Installation & setup
• Sequence Testing
• Graphics verification

 Required experience set:

•  BMS
• HVAC
• Networks 
• Computer literacy
• Labour management
• Fault finding skills
• WHS green card essential
• Current NSW drivers license essential
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Project Manager

Building Automation - Energy Management Systems

Doust Automation & Control is a leading building automation company offering the highest quality HVAC Control, Access Control, Lighting Control, Energy Management systems and solutions to our customers.

We have recently successfully delivered some Sydney landmark projects and as part of our continued growth plans we are seeking the services of an experienced Project Manager to join our Sydney team.

Working from our Sydney Office you will report to the Operations Manager.  You will be responsible for all aspects of projects assigned to you and you will be supported in your project delivery by experience and competent engineering, field and administration teams.

Prerequisites:

• Project management experience in HVAC and/or Access Control systems.
• Contract management experience.
• WHS management.
• Experience in mechanical electrical and automation system.
• Customer management skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Current NSW drivers licence.

Service Technician

Doust Automation & Control is a leading building automation company offering the highest quality HVAC Control, Access Control, Lighting Control and Energy Management systems and solutions to our customers. As part of our planned growth our service department seeks additional competent, motivated service technicians.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will be based primarily at a large Eastern Suburbs University Campus, responsible for the service of facilities placed in your care, interface with customers, respond to service calls as directed and work within the company team.

 Prerequisites:

• Experience in HVAC and/or Access Control systems.
• Experience in mechanical electrical and automation system.
• Electrical trade.
• Customer interfacing skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Computer literacy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Current NSW drivers licence.

Due to the demand for our services and systems we are currently seeking motivated people to join our installation and commissioning team.

Reporting to the Installation & Commissioning manager, you will be responsible to a tradesman for the installation and commissioning of our building automation systems within Greenfield, retro-fits and existing client sites.  

Electrical Apprentice

Prerequisites:

•   Successfully completed the first year of an electrical apprenticeship.
•   Green Card.
•   Computer literacy.
•   Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
•   Willing to travel with Tradesmen or by Train to sites.
•   Current NSW drivers license an advantage.
